Goldsmithing and silversmithing is a work-related study program at the secondary school level. The course includes increasing knowledge and skills in making jewellery, art objects and utility items from gold, silver and other metals. Students need to be familiar with the materials they are working with and understand the technique and work methods involved. Also to be able to present their product and sell it.
Goldsmithing and silversmithing is a certified trade. The average length of study is four years, a total of five semesters in school and vocational training, during which the progress of the workplace studies is recorded in an electronic logbook.
