Meat processing is a work-related study program at the secondary school level. The study program includes increasing the knowledge and skills required for meat processing. This applies to all types of meat processing, from the reception of slaughter products to the finished product, as well as project management, sales and consulting. It is possible to have skills acquired in the labour market evaluated.
Meat processing is a certified profession. The average study period is four years, including vocational training, during which the progress of the workplace studies is recorded in an electronic logbook.
