ReyCup is proud of the international environment we are able to share with our participants. A huge part of our community are our referees.
At ReyCup, we have around 200 referees as volunteers.
Last year, we had referees from Iceland, Spain, Germany, Slovakia and Italy.

It was 2011 when I participated in Recup for the 1st time. Especially the system with 2 referees on the field looked very interesting for me. Now I really love this way of officiating a game, it’s great when you do it with a partner you understand well!
Since the first days of my soccer experience on iceland I was impressed by the hospitality of the host Throttur. They care well for each participant, also for us referees. The whole tournament has a very good atmosphere. I’ve never had any problem with a team, the referees get treated friendly and with respect by the teams. I have found many good friends where I’m always looking forward to meet them again.
