The Reykjavik International Football and Fun Festival will start on July 20th 2016 and ends on July 24th. The tournament is for U13 – U16, girls and boys.
The tournament has been going on since 2002 and has been running very smoothly last years and teams have been very satisfied with the tournament. The number of international teams has been growing the last years and have been from 6 to 13 teams. For Rey Cup 2016 the plan is having at least 16 international teams, both girl teams and boys team.
The tournament is both for professional clubs, amateur clubs and school clubs as teams are ranked in groups according to strenght.
International teams have especially been satisfied with the tournament and some of them has been coming again and again. Norwich City ( UK) has been coming three years in a row and Brondby (Denmark) two years in a row. Among teams that have participated in Rey Cup are;

Denmark: FC Copenhagen, Herfolge, Esbjerg
Norway: CFK, Hommelvik, Haugasund
Sweden: IFK Gotenburg, LdB FC Malmö
Germany: Hansa Rostock
USA: Eastside FC
Canada: Barrie Spirit, CSSE Impact
